"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." — Philippians 4:13

It is one of the most quoted verses in the world — and one of the most misread. It is not a promise that you will win every game or land every job. Paul wrote these words from prison.

Strength in every season

The verse just before it is the key: Paul says he has learned to be content whether well-fed or hungry, in plenty or in want. "All things" is not "all the things I want." It is the strength to stand in any circumstance — abundance and lack alike.

Why it lives on a shirt

Fear is loud. It speaks first and speaks often. A verse worn close is a quiet counter-voice — a reminder, on the hard days, that your strength was never meant to come from you alone.

Faith over fear. Not because the fear disappears, but because something steadier holds you through it.
